After multiple delays, Vishnu Vishal's next, FIR - Faizal Ibrahim Rais, went on floors today. Even though the film was launched in July, and principal shooting was supposed to begin in September, filming was delayed due to various reasons, including Vishnu injuring himself.

Earlier, FIR was to be backed by Sujataa Productions, but now, it has been taken over by the actor's home banner, Vishnu Vishal Studioz. The film, which marks Vishnu's fourth production venture, will be a Summer 2020 release.

Directed by debutant Manu Anand, a former associate of Gautham Menon, FIR will also star Manjima Mohan, Raiza Wilson, and Reba Monica John. While Arul Vincent will be handling the cinematography, N Ashwath and Prasanna GK will take care of the music and editing, respectively.

Meanwhile, Vishnu Vishal also has Kaadan and Indru Netru Naalai 2 in the pipeline.
