The shooting for Mandela, Balaji Mohan’s first production venture, with Not Studios and Reliance Entertainment, was wrapped up today. The announcement was made by the makers on social media along with pictures from the last day of the shoot. 

Directed by Madonne Ashwin, who has won the National award for his short film Dharmam, Mandela will see Yogi Babu play the male lead. The actor will be essaying the role of a barber in the film. 

Mandela will have music by Bharath Shankar, cinematography by LKG-fame Vidhu Ayyana, and editing by Philominraj, who is currently part of Thalapathy 64. 
 
Last seen in the recently-released Action, Yogi Babu has a slew of films in the pipeline including Kathir’s Jada, Rajinikanth's Darbar, Santhanam’s Dikkiloona, and a solo film titled Pannikutty.
