Sid Sriram, who is clearly the flavor du jour of the Tamil cinema music scene right now, is collaborating with Maestro Ilaiyaraaja for the first time in Mysskin's upcoming film, Psycho. The song, titled Unna Nenachu, written by Kabilan, is out.

Here's the song:

This is the first single from the film, which stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Nithya Menen, and Aditi Rao Hydari

Expressing his happiness about this collaboration, SId Sriram tweeted,

In an interview recently, director Mysskin revealed that the film will be based on the Buddhist tale of Angulimala, which is about a brigand who sets out to kill 1000 people in order to collect a finger from each, only to be stopped by Buddha and converted into a monk. While Udhayanidhi is said to play Gauthaman, a visually-impaired person, a debutant actor, reportedly one of the Mysskin's assistants, will play the equivalent of Angulimala.

With cinematography by Tanveer MirPsycho marks Mysskin's third collaboration with Ilaiyaraaja after Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum and Nandalala.

Meanwhile, Sid Sriram is making his debut as a composer with Vaanam Kottattum, and the first song, Kannu Thangom, was released recently.
