Castle actor Molly C Quinn is set to star in and co-executive produce the horror feature, Agnes. This will be the second film under her QWGmire production banner.

Agnes will be directed by Mickey Reece, and star Jake Horowitz opposite Quinn, who shot to fame with her role as Alexis Castle in the hit ABC series.

The story follows rumours of demonic possession at a religious convent which prompts a church investigation into the strange goings-on among its nuns. A disaffected priest and his neophyte are confronted with temptation, bloodshed and a crisis of faith.

The rest of the casting is underway and Agnes is expected to go on floors in January in Oklahoma.
