Jeethu Joseph’s upcoming film, which sees Karthi and Jyotika share screen space for the first time, has been titled Thambi. The first look of the film was unveiled today by Suriya on Twitter. Notably, the same title has earlier been used for Madhavan’s 2006 film with Seeman.

Apart from Jyotika and Karthi, the film also stars Sathyaraj, Nikhila Vimal, and 90 ML-fame Anson Paul. Produced by Parallel Minds Productions, in association with Viacom18 Studios, Thambi will have music by Govind Vasantha and cinematography by RD Rajasekhar.

The team has confirmed that Thambi will have a December release.
