Dhruv Vikram’s acting debut is facing one issue after the other, the latest snag being the postponement of the release of the second version of his Arjun Reddy remake, Adithya Varma

The first version of the Tamil remake, Varmaa, directed by Bala, was shelved after being completed, due to creative differences between the director and the production house.

Later, the film was re-shot from scratch with new actors and technicians. Gireesaaya, who was an assistant to Sandeep Vanga, the director of the original Telugu version, was roped in to direct the second version of the Tamil remake, which was named Adithya Varma. London-born actor Banita Sandhu, known for her role in the Bollywood film October, was cast in the female lead role.

It was announced that Adithya Varma would be released this Friday (November 9). Now, the film has been postponed to November 21. The reason for the sudden change has not been revealed.

It is said that the Tamil remake was given 'A' certificate by the Censor Board while the makers were hoping for 'U/A' certificate.
