Marvel's Phase 4 plans seems to be moving on the right track, and the latest news from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is that there will be a third film in the Ant-Man franchise.

Peyton Reed, who helmed the Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), will return to direct the third movie, which will once again star Paul Rudd as the film's lead character Scott Lang. The presence of Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp/Hope Van Dyne is yet to be confirmed, but it is expected she will be part of this film too.

This will be the fifth appearance of Rudd's Ant-Man in the MCU after the previous two Ant-Man films, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Endgame

The film is expected to go on floors by the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021. It is likely to hit the screens in 2022. It is also said that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder will be shot before the third film in the Ant-Man franchise.
