Shah Rukh Khan, who celebrated his 54th birthday on Saturday, became the first Indian actor to feature on the Burj Khalifa, Dubai's iconic skyscraper.

To commemorate the birthday of the "King of Bollywood", a message on the World's tallest building read, "Happy birthday to the king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan". This message was accompanied with the famous fountain show at the Khalifa, which now swayed to the tune of Dhoom tana tana from Shah Rukh's 2007 blockbuster Om Shanti Om.

The brand ambassador of Dubai tourism took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the gesture.
