We had earlier told you that Sharwanand will be playing the lead in debutant director Shree Karthick's Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Amala Akkineni, who was last seen in a cameo in Manam (2014), has been signed to play Sharwanand's mother in the film.

"Amala and Ravi Raghavendra, father of music composer Anirudh Ravichander, are playing Sharwanand's parents in the film. The scenes involving the trio are being shot in this schedule," read a statement from the makers. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film's second schedule will commence tomorrow in Hyderabad.

Pelli Choopulu-fame Ritu Varma is playing the leading lady in the film that also stars Nasser, Vennela Kishore, and Priyadarshi Pullikonda in supporting roles.

The yet-to-be-titled film touches upon subjects such as friendship, love and the relationship between parents and son. Actor-turned-director Tharun Bhascker is penning the dialogues, while Jakes Bejoy is scoring the music. The film is slated for release next summer.
