'Century Star' Shivarajkumar and director’s Harsha third outing, which was initially titled My Name is Anji, will now be titled Bhajarangi 2. Interestingly, Shivanna and Harsha's first film together was Bhajarangi, and it turned out to be a hit. Owing to the popularity of that film, the makers have decided to change the title of the upcoming project. However, they have clarified that it is not going to be a sequel.

This film marks the fourth collaboration of Shivanna and Jayanna Combines. Bhavana, who was last seen in the Ganesh-starrer 99, will play the female lead opposite her Tagaru co-star.

With the lead pair finalised, the makers plan to have the formal launch ceremony on June 20, with shooting set to start immediately after the event.

Meanwhile, Shivarajkumar is currently busy with P Vasu’s film, tentatively titled Anand.
