Vijay, who was recently seen in Sarkar, is currently working on his upcoming film with Atlee, referred to as Thalapathy 63. It has now come to light that Amritha, who was part of Padaiveeran and Kaali, has been roped in to play a crucial role. The actor confirmed this with a tweet,  

Incidentally, she was also part of Atlee’s earlier film with Vijay, Theri. While Nayanthara plays the female lead, the film also stars Indhuja, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Vivekh, Reba Monica George, and Yogi Babu. Vijay is said to play a football coach in the film, produced by AGS Entertainment. AR Rahman is the film's music director. The crew is reportedly shooting the songs at Gokulam Studios, Chennai. Thalapathy 63 is expected to hit screens this Diwali.
