Ratsasan fame Ammu Abhirami joins Jeetu Joseph's film, starring Jyotika and Karthi

Ammu Abhirami, who was seen playing supporting roles in films like Ratsasan, Thuppaaki Munai, and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, has joined the cast of Jeetu Joseph's next in Tamil, starring Jyotika, Karthi, and Sathyaraj. The yet-to-be-titled film, produced by Suraj from Parallel Minds Productions in association with Viacom18 Studios, will have Sathyaraj playing the father of Jyotika and Karthi. 90 ML fame Anson Paul plays the primary antagonist. 

The project, which happens to be Jeethu Joseph’s second Tamil directorial after Papanasam, went on floors in Goa last month. Scripted by Jeethu, Rensil D’Silva, and Manikandan, the film with music by Govind Vasantha, and cinematography by RD Rajasekar, is expected to get a release in October.

Abhirami, meanwhile, is all set to reprise her role in the Telugu remake of Ratsasan, which stars Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran as the leads.  The remake, which marks Abhirami's Telugu debut, will be directed by Ramesh Varma.
