Vishal, whose action drama, Ayogya (the official remake of the Telugu hit, Temper) hit the theatres today, has moved on to his next project, a thriller, to be produced under his home banner, Vishal Film Factory, and directed by a newcomer, Anand, an erstwhile assistant to director Ezhil. The film's shooting is happening at a brisk pace, with plans for a year-end release.

It was earlier reported that this project will be a spiritual sequel to PS Mithran's blockbuster debut, Irumbuthirai, which starred the Sandakozhi 2 actor and Samantha in the lead roles. It was also rumoured to be titled Irumbuthirai 2. But, the makers were quick to dismiss the reports as mere rumours, further claiming that they are still in the process of finalising the title and will be making the official announcements along with details about the cast and crew soon. 

Vishal, meanwhile, has the yet-to-be-titled Sundar C film, co-starring Tamannaah and Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Mysskin's Thupparivaalan 2 in the pipeline.
