Naga Shaurya, last seen in Nartanasala, will be turning scriptwriter with his next film. Made by debutant Ramana Teja, the as-yet-untitled film features Shourya and Mehreen Pirzada in the lead roles. The film was launched today with veteran directors K Raghavendra Rao snapping the clapboard and Parasuram helming the first shot.

"The principal schedule will commence on May 13 and we are planning to shoot a major part of the film in Visakhapatnam. It's primarily a thriller with lots of twists," said Shaurya. Produced under Ira Creations, the film has music by Sricharan Pakala. Sargun Kaur, who shot to fame with a commercial for a mobile company, will play Shaurya's sister in the film.
