The shooting for Kombu Vatcha Singamda, the new film from the actor and director duo of Sasikumar and SR Prabhakaran has been wrapped up. Sources say that it will be a rural drama, much like their first film, Sundarapandian. Word has it that the film will deal 'with the heritage of jallikattu, and the need to spread awareness about this sport'. Sasikumar took to Twitter to announce the completion of the shoot, and also shared a few pictures from the shooting spot.

Madonna Sebastian, who was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi's Junga, plays the female lead in this film. Produced by actor Inder Kumar under his banner Redhan Cinema, KVS has music by Maragadha Naanayam-fame Dhibu Ninan Thomas.

Sasikumar also has projects like Susienthiran’s Kennedy Club, Gautham Menon's Enai Noki Paayum Thotta, a yet-to-be-titled film directed by Salim-fame NV Nirmal Kumar, and Samuthirakani’s Nadodigal 2, in various stages of production. Madonna, on the other hand, has the Kannada film, Kotigobba 3 alongside Sudeep in her kitty.
