The sequel to the 2012 hit, Addhuri, is in the making. Titled Addhuri 2, the film is set to star Upendra's nephew, Niranjan Sudhindra. Incidentally, the first part marked the debut of Dhruva Sarja and was directed by AP Arjun. 

Addhuri 2, will be directed by debut director Venkatesh, and produced by Shankar Reddy of CMR Productions along with Mohan. 

This will mark Niranjan’s third film after 2nd Half and HB Siddhu’s Nan Hudugaru Kathe.  The actor is said to be preparing for the character, after which the production house will launch the film. An official announcement may be made in a month or two.
