"You will always see Prem in Salman Khan,” chuckles Kannada director Prem. Before we even ask him to elaborate on it, he says, “Prem is the Salman’s most popular onscreen name.”

In Mumbai on work, Prem spent a day on the sets of Dabangg 3, with Salman Khan and Sudeep. The director took to Twitter to share his experience.

Awestruck by Salman’s commitment, Prem says, “About stars, we assume that they come, shoot their bits and return. But, the fact is they are very dedicated. In fact, Salman is practically camping on the sets of Dabangg 3.” The filmmaker goes on to add, “On the sets, I saw him getting ready as early as 7 am, and the moment, he got notice that his shot was ready, he was there. He uses a cycle to commute and is not the kind who goes back to his caravan after every shot.”

From Prem’s observation, the artistes and technicians in Bollywood work between 7 am and 6.45 pm. “If we (in the Kannada industry) take two days to shoot something, they complete it in one,” he says.

Any possiblity of collaborating with the superstar in the near future? Prem replies that it is not on the cards now, but adds, “I appreciate Salman’s love for South Indian films, and he mostly watches movies made here.”
