Tovino Thomas’ upcoming release, And the Oscar Goes To, helmed by Salim Ahamed, is scheduled to release next month.

The film, about a struggling first-time filmmaker played by Tovino, also stars Anu Sithara, Siddique, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Appani Sarath. And the Oscar Goes To, which has been in several locations around the globe including Los Angeles, Canada, Chennai, and Kochi, will be the Adaminte Makante Abu director's follow-up to Pathemaari.

Tovino's next immediate release is Virus, which is based on the Nipah outbreak. He also has a slew of films like Kalki, Minnal Murali, Forensic, and Luca in various stages of production.
