Their chemistry worked wonders for Theevandi and garnered much praise from audiences. Now Samyuktha Menon and Tovino Thomas are teaming up once again in debutant Praveen Prabharam’s Kalki, which started rolling recently. Praveen has worked as an assistant director on Theevandi. The details of Samyuktha’s character are currently being kept under wraps.

Touted to be an action-packed mass entertainer, Kalki will have Tovino essaying the role of a police officer. The actor was recently seen at the film’s launch event in a never-before-seen makeover. If the newly released teaser is any indication, the film will feature some high-voltage stunts. Ranam-fame Jakes Bejoy is the music composer.

Samyuktha, meanwhile, has Asif Ali-starrer Underworld and Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Oru Yamandan Premakatha coming up next. Filming of the former, a revenge thriller, is currently in progress while the latter, a comedy-entertainer, is getting ready for a Vishu release. Samyuktha recently appeared in a Tamil film, July Kaatril.
