We had recently reported that Dileep will be appearing in director Vysan KP’s new film Shubarathri, in which he will be sharing screen space with Anu Sithara and Siddique. The latest update is that Nadirshah is also playing a key role, as the son of Siddique’s character.

Based on true events, Shubarathri has Dileep and Anu Sithara playing a couple. Nedumudi Venu, Saiju Kurup, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Hareesh Perady are also part of the supporting cast. Vyasan made his directorial debut with Ayal Jeevichirippundu.

Interestingly, Nadirshah made his full-fledged acting debut with the Dileep film, Maanathe Kottaram. He recently made a cameo appearance in the Kunchacko Boban-starrer Allu Ramendran. He made his directorial debut in 2015 with Amar Akbar Anthony.

He is currently busy with the final touches on his third directorial, Mera Naam Shaji, which is scheduled to release on April 5. Touted to be a comedy-thriller, the film stars Biju Menon, Asif Ali, Baiju Santosh, and Nikhila Vimal.
