Tovino Thomas' Kalki goes on floors

Touted to be a mass action thriller, the film has been scripted by Praveen and Sujith Sujathan and it is directed by debutant Praveen Prabharam

We had recently reported that Tovino Thomas will be playing a police officer in debutant Praveen Prabharam's Kalki. The principal photography of the film has officially begun at Aluva, Ernakulam. Tovino, who recently wrapped shooting for Arun Bose's Luca, will be seen sporting a Veerappan-style moustache in the film.

Touted to be a mass action thriller, the film has been scripted by Praveen and Sujith Sujathan. Cinematographer Gautham Shankar, who previously worked in Tovino's Theevandi, and composer Jakes Bejoy of Ranam fame, are part of the project. 

Prasobh Krishna and Suvin K Krishna are producing the film under the banner of Little Big Films. Kalki is the fourth Malayalam film from the production house after Third World Boys, Kunjiramayanam and Aby.
