We had previously reported that director Sasi's next film, after his successful Pichaikaaran, with Siddharth and GV Prakash Kumar, has been titled Sivappu Manjal Pachai. It's now known that the latter has completed shooting for the film. The composer-turned-actor took to Twitter and shared a picture of himself from the sets with the filmmaker and Siddharth, captioned: "It's a wrap for director Sasi’s Sivappu Manjal Pachai. Lovely journey with director Sasi and Siddharth -- a superb script."

The film is touted to be a romantic comedy, and the first look poster, which was released earlier this month, lends credence to speculations that Siddharth plays a traffic cop and Prakash a street racer. While Malayalam actor Lijomol Jose is said to play Prakash's sister and Siddharth's love interest, debutante Kashmira is paired opposite the Sarvam Thaala Mayam actor. 

Bankrolled by Rajesh P Pillai of Abhishek films, Sivappu Manjal Pachai also stars Madhusudanan and Nakkalites-fame Dhanam in important roles. The film has music by debutant Siddhu Kumar and editing by San Lokesh of Ratsasan fame.
