The first-look of Anson Paul’s superhero character from The Gambler has been unveiled. Directed by Oru Mexican Aparatha-fame Tom Emmatty, the film is touted to be a realistic superhero film and a first of its kind in Malayalam cinema.

Produced by Thankachan Emmanuel, The Gambler is being planned as an April release. The cast also includes Vishnu Govindan and newcomer Dayana. Vinod Narayan, of the popular ‘Ballatha Pahayan’ Facebook page, is making his acting debut through the film.

Anson recently played the younger brother of Mammootty’s character in Abrahaminte Santhathikal. He has also appeared in Su...Su...Sudhi Vatmeekam and Solo.
