The teaser of the upcoming Mammootty-starrer MadhuraRaja, a sequel to the actor's 2010 film, Pokkiri Raja, will be released on Wednesday. Director Vysakh shared the news himself on his social media page.

As per reports, this is Mammootty's highest budget film yet. Udayakrishna, who also wrote Pulimurugan and Pokkiri Raja, is the scriptwriter.

Tamil actor Jai and Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu will be appearing in crucial roles in the film, which has Anusree, Shamna Kasim, and Mahima Nambiar playing the female leads.

Vijayaraghavan, Nedumudi Venu, and Salim Kumar are reprising their roles from the original.

An item song featuring Sunny Leone is said to be one of the film's major highlights.
