The first look poster of Aashiq Abu's Virus has been released. The poster comes with a quote by Ernest Shackleton: 'It was nature against us the whole time'. The film is based on the Nipah outbreak that affected some parts of Kerala last year.

The newly updated ensemble cast of the film features the names of Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Kunchacko Boban, Soubin Shahir, Rahman, Indrans, Rima Kallingal, Revathy, Parvathy, Remya Nambeesan, Poornima Indrajith, and Madonna Sebastian.

Virus has cinematography by Rajeev Ravi, editing by Saiju Sreedharan and music by Sushin Shyam. Produced by Aashiq and Rima under their banner, the film is scheduled for release on April 26.
