We had reported earlier that Tovino Thomas will be playing a police officer in an action thriller titled Kalki. The principal photography of the film helmed by debutant Praveen Prabharam, who has previously assisted Fellini T. P. in Theevandi, went on floors yesterday at Kochi.

Prasobh Krishna and Suvin Krishna are producing the film under the banner Little Big Films. Director Praveen has jointly scripted the film with Sujin Sujathan. More details are expected to be announced soon.

Tovino also has Luca by debutant Arun Bose in his kitty. The romantic thriller has the actor paired opposite Ahaana Krishna.
