Shooting for Puneeth Rajkumar’s Yuvarathnaa is going on in full swing, with director Santhosh Ananddramm shooting in different places of Karnataka but what is catching everybody’s attention is the cast of the film that is getting additions by the day.

Following Sayyeshaa's debut in Kannada opposite Puneeth Rajkumar, the latest we hear is Boman Irani will also be making his debut in the same film. The production team, Hombale Films, has approached Irani, who has also expressed his desire to play the role. At present the dates are being worked out and if everything falls into place, Irani will join the next schedule that is slated to start in Mysuru. It is to be noted that Kannada industry has been trying to get this veteran actor from Bollywood for quite sometime now.

The film that comes with a tagline ‘Power of Youth’ is set against a college backdrop. Puneeth Rajkumar is playing a college student but Boman’s role is yet to be ascertained but speculation abounds that he could be a principal or lecturer of the college.

V Harikrishna will be scoring music for Yuvarathnaa which also has Arun Gowda and Dhananjay as part of the cast with the latter playing the antagonist in the film.
