We had earlier reported that director Shakti Soundar Rajan, who is known for experimenting with different genres like in Nanayam, Miruthan, and Tik Tik Tik, will be joining hands with actor Arya for his next. This film, produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green productions, has been titled Teddy.  

The title leads one to immediately think of the Hollywood movie Ted, which had Transformers star Mark Wahlberg playing a guy having a talking teddy bear as a friend.

Meanwhile, Arya, who has films like Magamuni and Kaapaan in the pipeline, is all set to get married to actor Sayyeeshaa tomorrow. The sangeet ceremony was held in Chennai today.
