Director of Nathicharami, Mansore, will be collaborating with writer TK Dayanand of Bell Bottom fame for a new film. The latter has came up with an unconventional contemporary romance, for which he spoke to 45 young girls and collected their opinions on ‘Love in the modern world’.

Mansore, who wants to try his hands at a diverse range of genres, says, "When I started off back in 2009, I had a story that was on the lines of Rang De Basanti. However, due to budget constraints, it got shelved. I didn’t think anyone would invest so much on a newcomer, which is why I picked up Harivu. Finally, I have decided to make a commercial film. Dayanand and I have been friends for a long time, and we have been discussing various scripts over the past few years."

Dayanand, on the other hand, says, "The whole perspective of love might change after our film, and we feel it will be a love story that hasn't been told in any south Indian languages."

The team is now looking for fresh faces to play the lead roles. An official announcement is expected to be made by the makers soon.
