Sibiraj’s upcoming film with debutante director Anbarasan, titled Walter, was launched recently. The project had run into trouble after producer Singaravelan staked his claim over the title. The latest is that the Singaravelan has given the title to producer Prabhu Thilak, who has now taken over the project. 

Anbarasan was earlier supposed to make Walter for Singaravelan with Vikram Prabhu, Arjun, and Jackie Shroff. The announcement for that project was made in September last year. But due to delays, the director has now started the film with producer Prabhu Thilak, with the same title starring Sibiraj, Samuthirakani, and Shirin Kanchwala. It is notable that Sibiraj's father Sathyaraj starred in the 1993 blockbuster, Walter Vetrivel, as a police officer.
