Director Lingusamy, who last directed Vishal's Sandakozhi 2, is said to be in talks with Raghava Lawrence for a mass entertainer. The project, which is reportedly in pre-production, is believed to be a pucca commercial film, with action, comedy, and sentiments. An official announcement is awaited. 

Lingusamy, who's all set to make his Telugu debut with his upcoming film with Allu Arjun, is awaiting the release of his long-delayed production venture, Idam Porul Yeval.

Lawrence, on the other hand, is in the process of making the fifth film in the franchise, titled Kanchana 4 aka Muni 5. He is also working on a 3D thriller featuring snakes, which has been titled Kaala Bhairava.
