We had previously reported that Sasikumar is teaming up with Salim filmmaker Nirmal Kumar  for a film produced by Kalpataru Pictures. It is now known that the film has been titled Nana. A source close to the film says, "The title stands for Naan Narayanan. Almost 50 per cent of the film is complete. With the recent Mumbai schedule wrapped up, the team is currently busy with set-work in Hyderabad. The film, set against an urban backdrop, is something Sasikumar has never done before." 

The source further revealed that the actor has undergone a make over for the film which will be unveiled in the film's first look, to be launched on July 11.  The film, also starring Bharathiraja, has cinematography by Ganesh Chandrra, and music by Boomerang-fame Radhan.

Meanwhile, Sasikumar has Susienthiran’s Kennedy Club, where he will essay the role of a kabbadi coach. The actor also has SR Prabhakaran’s Kombu Vatcha Singamda, Gautham Menon’s Enai Noki Paayum Thota, and Samuthirakani’s Nadodigal 2, in various stages of production.
