Avengers: Endgame to be re-released on June 28, with extended footage and a post-credit scene

Avengers: Endgame, which has made its way to the second spot at the global box office is set to be re-released on June 28. According to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, the new version of the film will have additional post-credit scenes.

Feige revealed there would also be a deleted scene, a tribute, and some extra surprises for fans in the re-release. "Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of marketing push with few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there'll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises," he said.

As fans eagerly await the release of the next instalment of the SpiderMan series,  SpiderMan: Far From Home, this news has been received well by the MCU followers. 

Avengers: Endgame will be re-released on June 28.
