Sony Pictures International set to collaborate with four Indian directors

Directed by Umesh Shukla, Sabbir Khan, Sajid Samji, and Sashi Kiran Tikka, all four projects are expected to go on floors by the end of this year

Sony Pictures International Productions in India has announced projects with Indian filmmakers Umesh Shukla, Sabbir Khan, Sajid Samji, and Sashi Kiran Tikka. The films, which range from an action entertainer to a biopic thriller, are all slated for release next year.

Umesh Shukla of Oh My God fame will direct a family comedy, Sabbir Khan will make an action entertainer, Sajid Samji, who has co-directed Housefull 3 with brother Farhad, will helm a fun road movie, whilst Sashi Kiran Tikka will bring to life the story of martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan on the big screen, with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu set to play the titular character. 

All four projects are expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
