Gultoo director Janardhan Chikkanna's second project based on mafia

This yet-to-be-titled project is based on Omerta, a book written by Bangaluru-based journalist and writer, Ravi Belagere

Janardhan Chikkanna, who debuted with Gultoo, is ready with his next script. His first film, a crime thriller starring Naveen Shankar, won critical acclaim and was one of the hit films of lasy year. For the new film, Janardhan has chosen a mafia story, which will deal with their emotions, actions, and consequences. 

Interestingly, this yet-to-be-titled project is based on Omerta, a book written by Bangaluru-based journalist and writer, Ravi Belagere. The film stars Nam Areal Ondh Dina-fame Anish Tejeshwa as a gangster. The producers, Prashant Reddy Chethan and R Priyadarshini HB, have purchased the rights of the book, and the team will start shooting in August.
