Director Jacob Verghese's new film with Rishi in the lead has been titled Sakalakala Vallabha. The film, produced by Jacob himself in association with Dhanush’s production house Wunderbar Films, is currently in its post-production stage.  

Sakalakala Vallabha marks the Kannada debut of Jacobinte Swargarajyam-fame Reba Monica John and she has been paired opposite Rishi. The film, also starring Saikumar in an important role, is expected to have an August release. Rishi was last seen in the investigative thriller Kavaludaari, alongside Anant Nag.
