Darshan's Gandugali Madakari Nayaka likely to roll from August

Darshan’s next outing is Muniratna Kurukshetra, which is slated to release on August 9 in five languages

Producer Rockline Venkatesh's upcoming historical drama, Gandugali Madakari Nayaka, starring Darshan, is set to go on floors from August. The pre-production of this period drama directed by Rajendra Singh Babu, is currently underway.

Venkatesh, in a previous interview with Cinema Express shared that he wants Gandugali Madakari Nayaka to be a landmark film in Kannada cinema. Written by Venu, the film's music is composed by Hamsalekha. The film will be shot in parts of Chitradurga, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Rajasthan.

Darshan’s next outing is Muniratna Kurukshetra, which is slated to release on August 9 in five languages. He also has MD Sridhar’s Odeya and Tharun Kishore Sudhir’s directorial, Robberrt, in the pipeline.
