Andhadhun is coming to Tamil and it looks like Dhanush will the person headlining it. The multi-faceted actor, who's currently promoting his Hollywood film, The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir, said that he is eager to remake the film in Tamil. "When I watched Andhadhun, I could not stop myself from reaching out to its team and seeking the remake rights. I loved the film and the performances. However, it hasn’t worked out yet," he said at an event in Mumbai.

Notably, last December, Siddharth had expressed his interest to remake the Sriram Raghavan directorial, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in the lead. Though Ayushmann himself encouraged Siddharth's idea on Twitter, there was no significant development after that.

Dhanush is awaiting the release of his Hollywood debut which hits the screens on June 21. He also has Vetri Maaran's Asuran, his directorial starring himself, and Aditi Rao Hydari, and Enai Noki Paayum Thota in various stages of production. He is also expected to start shooting for his third Bollywood film directed by Aanand L Rai soon.
