Director Tharun Kishore Sudhir chose Eid to give people yet another glimpse of his upcoming directorial, Roberrt, starring Darshan. The unveiling of the poster took place on earlier today, with the Challenging Star himself doing the honours.

The poster shows Darshan sitting on a bike, with his back to the camera and a sunset in the background. The actor, who has a new hairdo in the film, is seen wearing a black jacket bearing the logo of an elephant with wings. The number plate of the bike — KA 19 D 8055 (read BOSS) — is a reference to the name given to Darshan by his fans — DBOSS. 

Director Tharun told Cinema Express that everything in the poster has an important part in the film. "It is a poster that will give the audience some work to do to decode it. It will make them think and go over it layer by layer to understand Darshan’s role in the film."

Roberrt, said to be made on a massive budget, is bankrolled by Umapathy Films. While the dialogues are by Chandramouli and Rajshekar, Sudhakar S Raj is the cinematographer. As for the cast, aside from Darshan, the makers have so far only announced that Jagapathi Babu is on board.
