Vijay, who was recently seen in Sarkar, is currently working on his upcoming film with Atlee, referred to as Thalapathy 63. The film Atlee's third collaboration with Vijay, is said to be in its final leg of shoot.

Meanwhile, AR Rahman, who is the composer of the film, has taken to Twitter to provide an update about the film's post-production. Sharing a picture of Atlee seated in his recording studio, the music director tweeted saying that the first edit of two songs from Thalapathy 63 are ready, and he's the first person to see them.

Thalapathy 63 is touted to be a sports drama, with Vijay playing a football coach. Starring Nayanthara as the female lead, the film also features Indhuja, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha, and Reba Monica John as footballers, whose team will be coached by Vijay's character. Apart from them, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Vivekh, and Yogi Babu also play supporting characters.
