 Manisha Koirala to front Netflix film Maska

The coming-of-age story also stars Prit Kamani, Sherley Setia and Nikita Dutta

Manisha Koirala will headline the upcoming Netflix film, Maska. Directed by Neeraj Udhwani, the coming-of-age-story follows an amateur actor on his path to self-discovery. The film also stars YouTube sensation Sherley Setia and Kabir Singh fame Nikita Dutta. The male lead is played by Prit Kamani.

The official synopsis of Maska reads, “A confused young millennial sets out on a desperate journey to fulfill his fantasy of becoming a movie star until a summer romance with a clear-headed girl helps him discover the fine line between dreams and delusions.”

Maska marks Manisha Koirala’s second collaboration with Netflix. She was earlier seen in Dibakar Banerjee’s short film in Lust Stories (2018). Sherley Setia is set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Abhimany Dassani in Sabbir Khan’s Nikamma. Neeraj Udhwani has co-written the films Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji and Mere Dad Ki Maruti. Maska marks his feature film debut as a director.
