Kangana Ranaut’s new film, Judgementall Hai Kya, has opened to positive reviews. Director Prakash Kovelamudi, who makes his Bollywood debut with the project, has thanked his female lead in a private message. Screenshots of the conversation were shared by Kangana’s sister and manager Rangoli Chandel on Twitter.

“..Am so grateful that our film is getting a good response in terms of overall reviews - am happy that every department is being appreciated and especially the performances,” Prakash writes.

“And people saying that it's your career-best performance is a huge validation of the kind of unique and original talent you are! You keep surprising people with how good you can be and make them fall in love with you, time and again. You are in many ways like Bobby- a beautiful but misunderstood soul, who lives life by her instincts - and one that has divine guidance,” he adds.

Commenting on Kangana’s professionalism — the actor was accused of interference on previous projects — Rangoli wrote, “This is the kind of equation love and respect she shares with people around her, the whole unprofessional and unfriendly narrative spread by a section of the media needs to stop.”

Judgementall Hai Kya tells the story of a voice-over artist with acute psychosis. The murder mystery is written by Kanika Dhillon and also stars Rajkummar Rao, Amyra Dastur and Jimmy Sheirgill.
