Raghava Lawrence, who last made Kanchana 3, will next helm a 3D film produced by Sun Pictures. In a statement, the makers announced that the project will be a superhero film, directed by and starring Lawrence. They further added that the film will be made on an extravagant budget. The choreographer-turned-actor-turned-director struck gold with his horror comedy franchise Muni. He is currently working on Laxmmi Bomb, the Hindi remake of Kanchana. While the original had Raghava Lawrence in the lead, the remake will feature Akshay Kumar in his place. Kiara Advani is set to play the female lead. Reports suggest that Madhavan has been approached to play Sarath Kumar’s role in the remake.
