Karthik Subburaj, whose gangster-drama starring Dhanush was recently officially announced, made his debut as a producer with 2017's Meyadha Maan. The filmmaker is now all set to produce his next feature film under his Stone Bench Productions banner, and it's confirmed that the untitled project will star Aishwarya Rajesh and Ashwin Kakumanu, and will be directed by Rathindran R Prasad. Interestingly, both the actors are also a part of Rathindran's yet-to-be-released first film, Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai. 

A source close the project tells us, "Though the actors are yet to sign the dotted line, the project is confirmed. Contrary to reports online that it will be a web series, it is actually a feature film. Starring Aishwarya and Ashwin, it will be gripping yet unconventional film with very few characters. Also, it is not a female-centric film as is being reported in some circles. The makers are planning to wrap the project by the end of this year."

About Rathindran's debut film, the source adds, "Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai's post-production was recently completed. Since it stars Abhay Deol, the makers are planning to release the film in Hindi as well."

Meanwhile, Aishwarya has Ka Pae Ranasingam, Vaanam Kottatum, Vada Chennai 2, and an untitled film with Sivakarthikeyan in various stages of development.
