Kajal Aggarwal, who was last seen on screen in Tamil as one of the female leads in Vijay's 2017 film Mersal, will be reportedly teaming up with Venkat Prabhu for the second time, and this time it will be for a web-series that the filmmaker is directing for the popular online streaming platform, Hotstar.

According to sources, Venkat Prabhu had earlier planned to shoot this script as a feature film,  but had later found the web platform as the appropriate medium for it. The series will have 10 episodes. The shoot is said to start from August, and Venkat Prabhu has planned to wrap it up by September. 

Kajal Aggarwal, meanwhile, has the Jayam Ravi-starrer, Comali, in the pipeline. Venkat Prabhu, on the other hand, has Party and Maanadu in different stages of production.
