We had earlier reported that Vijay Antony is set to star in Metro director Ananda Krishnan's upcoming film. The project, said to be a political thriller, went on floors on Monday.

Bankrolled by TD Raja of Chenthur Film International, the yet-to-be-titled film has music by Uru-fame Johan, and NS Uthayakumar in charge of cinematography. The details about the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced. This will be Vijay Antony's second political thriller after Yeman (2017).

This is yet another addition to the impressive lineup of films in Vijay Antony's kitty. Recently seen in Andrew Louis' Kolaigaaran, the actor also has Moodar Koodam Naveen's Agni Siragugal, which also stars Arun Vijay. The Saithan actor is set to don the khaki once again after last year's Thimiru Pudichavan in Babu Yogeshwaran's Tamizharasan,  which has music by Ilaiyaraaja.
