Kabir Singh, a remake of Arjun Reddy starring Shahid Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is having a good run at the box office, and the film in its fourth week, has registered a whopping 250 crore collections so far.

However, the original hero, Vijay Devarakonda, apparently, hasn't shown interest in watching the Hindi remake.

At a media interaction in Bengaluru for Dear Comrade, the actor said that he doesn’t want to watch the Hindi version. "Shahid has done that film, and he has gone through the character, and there is nothing for me to watch it again. I know the story, I have done that film, what will I watch again?” says the actor.

Vijay further added that director Sandeep Vanga had been requesting him for quite some time now to watch Kabir Singh.“Kya Picture, Kya dekenge. I wanted the Hindi film to be a big hit, because Sandeep is my man. But unexpectedly, it became a blockbuster. Done. No more discussion there," he said.

Vijay is now awaiting the release of Dear Comrade. The Telugu film, directed by Bharath Kamma and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The film will be dubbed and released in Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam.
