Vishnu Vishal signs up Jiivi director-writer combo for his next project

The recently released thriller, Jiivi, starring 8 Thottakkal-fame Vettri and Karunakaran got rave reviews from critics and audiences alike for its novel subject and taut execution. The film follows a dejected, astute man, who successfully pulls off a theft in his landlady's house, and is then shocked by strange happenings in his family and with the landlady.

Now, Vishnu Vishal, who was last seen in Silukkuvarupatti Singam, has signed the director-writer combo, Gopinath VJ and Babu Tamizh, for his next production, after being impressed with their debut film. The actor took to Twitter to make the announcement. 

The film, which will be written by Babu Tamizh and directed by Gopinath VJ, is currently in the scripting stage. Vishnu Vishal. in addition to producing the film, will reportedly also be playing the lead in it. 

Vishnu, meanwhile, has Haathi Mera Saathi, directed by Prabhu Solomon; Jagajala Killadi, directed by Ezhil; the Indru Netru Naalai sequel, produced by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment; and an untitled film with Vikranth, in the pipeline.
