Model-actor Meera Mithun, who has played supporting roles in films like 8 Thottakkal and Suriya-starrer Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, has been mired in controversies since last month after she was accused of fraud by fellow models, while organising a fashion event.

Later, the actor joined the third season of the Bigg Boss reality show as the 16th contestant. Ever since her entry, there have been arguments and fights between Meera Mitun and the other contestants, and the now, the actor finds herself in yet another imbroglio.

Following a police complaint by a woman named Ranjitha from T Nagar, citing that Meera had not returned the 50,000 rupees she had got from her, police have summoned Meera to appear for an inquiry, and reportedly, the actor has responded saying that she will come for the inquiry after the end of her Bigg Boss stint.
