Kangana Ranaut plays a voice-over (VO) artist in her upcoming film, Judgementall Hai Kya, directed by Prakash  Kovelamudi. A VO/dubbing artist provides additional dialogues to an animation or feature film, usually in a language not spoken by the original actors.

On her experience of playing the character, Kangana says, “I have never played a VO artist before. Prakash (the director) helped me a lot, as did all the people who guided me in the exercises and modulations required for it. In the film, my character is dubbing for Bhojpuri and South Indian films. That leads to a lot of excitement and humour. I got to do a lot of changes in my accent and voice modulation. We also did a lot of tongue and throat exercises.”

Judgementall Hai Kya is a black comedy written by Kanika Dhillon. The film reunites Kangana with her Queen co-star Rajkummar Rao. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, it is scheduled for release on July 26.
